‌Installation Preparation‌
Before installation, measure the length of the shaft tube and cut the curtain fabric of the smoke barrier accordingly, leaving an extra 3 cm on each side. Prepare all necessary components, including mounting brackets, control boxes, and drive shafts.

‌Mounting the Bracket and Shaft‌

• ‌Secure the Bracket‌: Use a level to position and mark the wall, then fasten the mounting brackets and control box on both sides using expansion screws.
• ‌Install the Shaft‌: Place the drive shaft on the brackets. The shaft’s fixed axis is adjustable; align it properly and secure it. Attach the motor tail plug inside the shaft with screws.

‌Attaching the Curtain and Bottom Rail‌

• ‌Fix the Curtain‌: Secure the cut curtain to the shaft using a pressure strip. Note: Leave an extra 2 cm on the non-motor side and 0.5 cm on the motor side. Position the pressure strip screws in the middle, avoiding the motor area.
• ‌Install the Bottom Rail‌: The bottom rail should match the curtain length. Thread it through to complete the semi-assembled unit.

‌Wiring and Debugging‌

• ‌Wiring‌: Open the control box door and connect the 220V power cord to the corresponding terminals. For fire linkage functionality, properly connect the central control signal lines, smoke detectors, etc.
• ‌Debugging‌:
  • ‌Pairing‌: Press the pairing button on the controller for 2 seconds until the light stays on, then turns off.
  • ‌Limit Adjustment‌: Hold the stop button for 10 seconds to enter debug mode. First, set the upper limit (press the down button), then the lower limit (press the up button), and press the stop button twice to complete.
• ‌Functional Testing‌: Manually operate the button box to check if the barrier opens and resets smoothly, ensuring the drop height meets requirements. Conduct a fire simulation test to confirm it deploys within 60 seconds.

‌Special Installation Scenarios‌

• ‌With Ceiling‌: The bottom of the smoke barrier should align with the ceiling.
• ‌Without Ceiling‌: Install fixed mounting brackets at the bottom of the beam to reserve space for MEP piping, then mount the barrier below.
• ‌Multiple Units‌: Install them on the same level, with intermediate splicing brackets ensuring a minimum overlap of 100 mm.
• ‌Above Doorways‌: Position the barrier on the backside of the door swing, behind the exit sign.
